How to Fix Destination Folder Already Exists Installation Issue

When installing our plugin, if you’re shown a “Destination folder already exists”, this can be solved by following the steps below.

Below is a screenshot of a common error when installing or updating the Revolution Slider or Essential Grid plugin from a Theme Bundled version.

1. Delete the existing plugin files via FTP

Delete/Remove the folders/files located inside the following directory: wp-content/plugins/revslider/

2. Upload the latest version of the plugin files.

And then upload the latest “revslider” files/folder that can be found inside the zip file that you downloaded from your CodeCanyon account.
